Description
*PENDING CONTRACT AWARD*
General Description
Supply personnel support F-15 aircraft maintenance operations by providing technical supply, inventory, storage, cataloging, and property support necessary to maintain mission readiness. This position may be at either one of our locations based at Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID and/or Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC and requires CONUS/OCONUS travel to support maintenance operations throughout the United States and overseas. Ideal candidates have experience supporting military aviation or similar supply operations, with knowledge of supply systems, inventory management, material accountability, and established supply procedures.
Duties
- Perform technical supply management activities supporting F-15 aircraft maintenance operations, including inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization.
- Maintain accountability and control of assigned parts, materials, equipment, and other supply assets.
- Receive, identify, store, issue, track, and account for supplies and materials in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory and supply records and assist with physical inventories, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
- Research and resolve individual supply problems and respond to supply-related questions using established systems, policies, and procedures.
- Use applicable supply systems, programs, manuals, nomenclature, work methods, and established guidelines to perform assigned functions.
- Collect and analyze necessary information to identify supply issues, establish relevant facts, and take or recommend appropriate corrective action within established guidelines.
- Coordinate supply requirements with maintenance personnel and other supported organizations to ensure required parts, materials, and equipment are available to support scheduled work.
- Ensure supplies and materials are properly identified, stored, protected, and controlled.
- Assist with property accountability and utilization requirements as assigned.
- Maintain applicable documentation, records, reports, and transaction data.
- Comply with applicable safety, security, quality, FOD, property-control, and supply-management requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of aircraft maintenance and supply operations.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in supply, inventory, logistics, warehouse, materiel management, or a related support function.
- Military aviation or F-15 supply experience is preferred.
- U.S. Air Force AFSC 2S0X1 (Materiel Management), or equivalent military or civilian supply training and experience, is preferred.
- Working knowledge of inventory, issue, receipt, storage, and property-accountability practices, and ability to use computer-based supply or inventory systems.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance with favorable Tier 3/Secret adjudication and remain eligible for installation access, a Common Access Card, and required Government information-system access.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to work the normal Monday-Friday day shift, 0700-1530, and approved overtime or adjusted schedules when mission requirements change.
- Must hold a valid state driver's license when vehicle or airfield-operation duties are assigned.
- Must comply with Tyonek, installation, OSHA, environmental, safety, security, FOD-prevention, tool-control, and hazardous-material procedures applicable to assigned work.

- Ability to work in warehouse, supply, maintenance, and flight line support environments as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform material-handling activities for extended periods.
- Ability to safely handle, move, store, and account for aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment within applicable workplace requirements.
- Ability to use computers, scanners, inventory systems, and other applicable equipment.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Must be able to support CONUS/OCONUS travel as required.
- May be required to lift and carry up to 35 pounds; heavier items require approved lifting assistance or equipment.
